What could be sunnier than a day on the Westben Meadow with Barbra Lica? Known from Japan to Manhattan, this internationally acclaimed Toronto-based singer-songwriter shares favourite pop-jazz chestnuts and brand new songs - some literally from the isolation of her basement! Joining Barbra are favourite bandmates Tom Fleming and Michael Eckert, along with up-and-coming songstress Sammy Jackson.

Based in Toronto, Barbra’s live show captivates audiences all over North America with her genuine warmth and confident stage presence.

A seasoned act on the Canadian and American club and festival circuits, Barbra Lica has performed everywhere from New York City’s legendary Birdland  to Toronto’s prestigious Koerner Hall. She has also headlined at festivals across the continent including Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, Vancouver International Jazz Festival and Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival, and opened for the likes of Christian McBride, Pat Metheny, Bob Dorough, and Terence Blanchard.

Internationally acclaimed Toronto-based singer-songwriter Barbra Lica visited Campbellford this past summer to record a Digital Concert at The Barn safely onstage at The Barn. After filming, Westben's Artistic & Managing Director Brian Finley sat down with Barbra to talk about her experience as a musician during this pandemic year & recording a digital concert in such a uniquely Westben way.
