Mix & Master with Eve Parker Finley
Come and experiment, play and learn techniques of electronic music making and production. The day will be a relaxed small group session that encourages playfulness, experimentation, and collaboration. Walk away with some introductory skills in electronic music production, including beat making, playing with synths, and producing songs on programs like Ableton and Garageband.
This one day camp is designed for ages 12 to 18 and will run on Friday, March 15th from 9 am to 4 pm. Registration is limited. No experience required. Bring a lap top or phone if you have one but this is not a requirement, as equipment will be provided.
The one day Electronic Music Making camp is led by Eve Finley. Eve Finley is a 25 year old musician living in Montreal, Quebec currently working as an Equity Educator at McGill University. Hailing originally from Campbellford, Eve spends her free time producing electronic music and playing violin as part of her solo project, Lonely Boa.
The creation and nurturing of new music is important to Westben. We hope to provide a stimulating environment for the development and also for the delivery of new music involving all generations.
