Bandits in the Valley
Tapestry Opera presents...
Friday, September 22, 4:00 pm at the Westben Barn & Farmhouse
There are two sides to every story! And now, two venues… Toronto’s Tapestry Opera presents a delightful two-scene opera about late 19th century Ontario, when bandits thrived in the dark corners between stiff Victorian values and the influx of new immigrants. Will a wealthy land owner and his guests be distracted by a travelling Gilbert & Sullivan troupe long enough for a greedy bandit to break into his house? And what of the bandit who has promised his love to both the leading actress and the house’s maid? (limited to 60 patrons)
