Brian Legere is a guitarist, singer with forty plus years of experience as a freelance musician and music educator. He was born in Hamilton and at a young age gained valuable live experience playing a wide variety of music in the various bars, and clubs in his hometown.
He moved to Toronto at the age of twenty to pursue a degree in Jazz Performance, and his ability and versatility led him to perform with numerous top Canadian and international artists including Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Daniel Lanois, Guido Basso, Dave Young, Liberty Silver, Jackie Richardson, Carol Welsman, Michael Dunston, Jackie Washington, George Oliver, Harrison Kennedy, David Foster, and Carlos Del Junco. He has also performed in events opening for James Brown, Glen Campbell, Hall and Oates, Randy Bachman, and Burton Cummings.
Brian taught music at the college level, and for thirty years headed an award winning, high school music program. He currently lives in Picton, Ontario and is pursuing a solo career playing his eclectic blend of Roots, Blues, and Jazz.
