“I myself consider it to be the best thing I have written in my life.” So wrote Mozart to his father following the premieree of hisQuintet in E Flat for Piano and Winds, K. 452. Beethoven was so impressed by the piece that he too composed his own Quintet in E Flat  for Piano and Winds, Op. 16 twelve years later. Now, four of Canada’s best chamber musicians team up with Westben’s Brian Finley to perform both masterpieces on the evocative Music of the Night series.
