First Laureate of the 2009 Honens International Competition in Calgary, 23-year old Russian pianist Georgy Tchaidze is already known internationally for his lyric sensitivity, virtuosity and musical imagination. Native of St. Petersburg, Russia, Georgy performs Mussorgsky’s colourful Pictures at an Exhibition as well as works by Medtner and Tchaikovsky.
