The Toronto Consort is Canada’s leading chamber ensemble specializing in the music of the Middle Ages, Renaissance, and early Baroque. Westben is pleased to offer a Master Class and performance opportunity to emerging pianists in 2010 with Canadian Pianist, Robert Silverman on Monday, July 19, 2010

Open to serious young performers, life-long learners, teachers and auditors, Westben’s Master Classes seek to bring those passionate about playing,, studying or talking about music together with a renowned musical master. Led by Robert Silverman the sessions are designed to be short, intensive and stimulating, offering participants the opportunity to meet, perform and explore their musical passions in a refreshingly informal setting. Master Classes are in an open format where participants perform and are taught in front of each other. Auditors are welcome.

  • 6 hours of Master Classes: (2 x 3 hour master classes) on July 19th, 2010
  • An appearance on “Pianists on the Horizon” concert July 19 at 7:30 pm
  • A complimentary ticket to Pianist of the Night, with Robert Silverman, July 19 at 7pm
  • Billeting, meals and practice facilities as required
