Just 21, Canadian pianist Jan Lisiecki has already won international acclaim for
his extraordinary interpretive maturity, distinctive sound, and poetic sensibility.
A Deutsche Grammophon artist since age 15, Jan Lisiecki has appeared at London’s
Royal Albert Hall and at New York’s Carnegie Hall where the New York Times praised his“uncommonly sensitive performance”. At The Barn, Jan performs Partita No. 3 (J.S. Bach), Klavierstücke, Op.32 (Schumann), Nocturnes, Op. 48 (Chopin), Scherzo No.1, Op. 20 (Chopin) and Impromptus, Op. 142 (Schubert). Don’t miss Gramophone magazine’s 2016 Young Artist of the Year.
