What to Wear

The Westben Barn is on a farm amongst glorious countryside. We suggest that you dress according to the weather and the rustic setting. Although paths and walkways are well maintained, practical footwear is recommended. Whether you dress up or dress more casually is entirely up to you. Both approaches are warmly welcomed.

During the summer, our air conditioning is by nature alone! On warm days, the sides of The Barn can be opened to allow the breeze to blow through, and on cooler or wet days, the sides are usually closed.

Temperatures are cooler during our fall and Christmas season. The Barn is not insulated, however, propane heaters are used if needed. Please take into account the weather and dress warmly with good winter footwear, especially for Christmas performances.

Parking

Parking

Westben is pleased to provide plenty of free parking on the property in a large field. Friendly attendants in the parking lot will assist you. The walk to The Barn is approximately 300 feet via scenic pathways. For those unable or uncomfortable with the walk, Westben provides a passenger drop-off zone, or valet parking.

Disabled Access

Disabled Access

A parking lot for disabled patrons is located closer to the Barn just beside the Ticket Booth. Please advise a parking attendant upon your arrival if you wish to use this disabled parking lot or the drop-off or valet services.

We ask that wheelchair users advise the Box Office when tickets are booked. We provide designated seating for wheelchairs and a wheelchair ramp at the northeast entrance to The Barn. It is recommended that wheelchair users be accompanied by an able-bodied companion. Ushers will be on hand to assist as necessary. A wheelchair-access portable toilet is located close to this entrance.

Washrooms

Washrooms

Currently our washrooms are portable “Blue Loos”. Serviced before every performance, they are inspected on a regular basis. Some have foot-operated flushing systems and sinks. Outdoor sinks are also available. We plan to upgrade these facilities in the near future.

Concessions and Picnic Facilities

Concessions and Picnic Facilities

The Westben Meadow is a lovely place to picnic before a concert. There are several tables, umbrellas and of course, plenty of grass for a blanket! The site opens 90 minutes before the performance time. If you are bringing a large group, it is advisable to book ahead to ensure we can accommodate you.

Why not let us pack the picnic? Place your order for a picnic at the same time as your ticket and it will be waiting for you, fresh and ready, when you arrive. Please contact us at for more information.

At the on-site concession stand, you may purchase non-alcoholic beverages, light snacks (potato chips, etc.) and ice-cream.
